Our Program Structure

Our Program is composed of 2 compulsory core subject clusters and a choice of either Thesis (A) or IS (B) tracks.

1. Core, Southeast Asian Urbanism
9 credits
You will discover the environmental, interdisciplinary and comparative forms of Urbanism across the region.

2. Core, Urban Visualization & Design
9 credits
You will learn and explore how to analyze and visualize city-related information and research skills.

3a, Track A: Thesis. Urban Design Research Thesis
18 credits
You will research and develop your Masters thesis in 2 phases, 12+6 credits.

3b, Track B: Independent Studies (IS)
18 credits
You will undertake a path of individual research following coursework and personal studies on a specific issue.

 



Admissions

Students from Thailand and abroad from all disciplines are welcome. GPA should be a minimum of 2.50. English proficiency would be required:
TOEFL (Paper-based 500, Computer-based 173, Internet-based 61) or TU-GET 500 or IELTS (Academic) 6.0. Attained within two years of application submission
